Product Description
BayTech's DS9-IPS remote console access server provides a cost-effective data switch designed for local and remote equipment management interfaced with DS host/control/remote switch modules. The entire line of DS Series data switches provides excellent solutions to data communications out-of-band management. The DS9-IPS contains nine plug-in module slots to accommodate DS modules. The DS9-IPS chassis and communications bus afford the flexibility to build a powerful, reliable data switch. Typical applications include remote site management, out-of-band management and general data switching applications. When used in combination with a BayTech Remote Power Controller (RPC), the DS9-IPS allows users to turn on, turn off, or reboot connected equipment. Modules available for the DS Series data switch include a variety of host communication modules, peripheral communication modules and peripheral data acquisition and control (DAC) modules.
