Battlestations: Pacific (PC Games, 2009)

Game is overdressed, even dumbed all the way down it doesn't run smooth on my dual core machine. Battlestations Midway works better. Probably need a real gamer machine for this.

I excede the min. system requirements but it tends to lag alot during close multi-plane dog fights, or whenever a whole lot is going on in one area.

The foreign version is 1/3 the price (usually) for a reason. It doesn't work. The video portion and graffics are good, but control of the game through mouse or joystick is almost non-existent. I was told to reduce my video resolution AND turn off all other video and graffics. Why? A game such as this should work out of the box, especially on a brand new Dell system. Pay the money and buy the U.S. version, but rent it first. Beware of the foreign knoc-offs; especially those from the Ukraine or from this eBay seller: Виктор Малкин" <starlancer2009@gmail.com; You'll get ripped-off.

It is not an accurate reality simulation games but it is fun and intense -- imagine to sunk a battleship within 1 min. :) There are several mode you can play with either single player or multi-player. Personally I like the skirmish / duel mode the best. I like the island capture mode too but it is a bit too much to control. The only complain I have is the lack of fully support to my logitech joystick, some keys such as rudder control cannot be mapped as I'd like.

Game did not work. returned same to seller. Never received refund from seller or pay pal.

I will get it on with Pay pal and seller at a latter date.
