This book was a hard one to put down and a real eye and mind opener. Joyce's advice is easily understood, to the point, and well layed out. This is a great book for EVERYONE. Even if you thought you didn't have any battles in your own mind, once you started reading it you'd realize not one person that has ever lived has been free of Satan's mental attacks...not one.
I didn't know that ALL the non-positive things I thought, felt, and said were the rotten fruit the devil produced inside of me...even when it feels we can't seem to think, it's because of mind-binding spirits Joyce explains. And changing my mind and attitude to ALWAYS be positive (along with prayer) will help me to live a much more free and happy life. There are things in this book I never heard of, but yet make sense and thoughts and feelings in my mind that the devil does, which I always thought was just me.
This book has a great many ways the devil uses our minds explained in here along with Joyce's own personal experiences to help us understand what she means. And best of all she includes many scriptures from the Bible in each chapter to help us know what is and isn't God's way of thinking and being.
This is one of the best self help books I have ever read that is just packed full of wisdom and knowledge and I believe every single person alive should read it and apply it. This book has helped me and I KNOW it will help you too! God Bless! Jesus loves YOU!

Every day, whether we know it or not, we are engaged in a mighty battlefield in our mind. In a modern world filled with millions of people who suffer from depression, worry, doubt, low self-esteem, anger, tormenting addictions and other forms of human misery, Joyce Meyer's insights offer a beacon of hope, and yes, even joy to her readers. Based on her own personal trials and triumphs in her battle to overcome a past filled with abuse and years of self-torment and anger, she walks the reader through every possible line of attack that Satan may be taking and the Biblical principles for overcoming his attempts at stealing his victim's joy. I personally feel that time will prove this book to be one of the most important ever written on the Christian faith not only for its ability to offer its reader much-needed insights into improving their lives immediately but also as a daily reference to achieving a life filled with peace,love and joy.

Haven't finished the book yet but it is very helpful so far. Joyce Meyer is so helpful in directing one back to what is most important and how to stay focused on that. Battlefield of the mind accomplishes just that.

If you are struggling with issues in life, this book is a must. There is absolutely nothing I dislike about it. In fact, I have 3 of these books and 2 of the 3 are being loaned to someone right now to read so I purchased a 3rd one just to have at home to review from time to time.

It helps me so much, that I bought it for a friend who is battleing bi-polar disorder. I open this book only 2nd to my Bible. It is a great perscription from Almighty God to fight the "stinkin' thinkin'" mode we get sucked into and causes our health and quality of life to fail.
I don't sit around thinking negative, depressing thoughts anymore. I think clearly now. I now know the origin of our actions and what to do to have a healthy, clear-thinking mind all the time because of this book. My life is good now...everyday, even when bad things are happening to me.

One of the biggest problems we have is when we let our mind control our emotions. If we are not careful, our minds can lead us to total negativity and sadness, a place so far away from God's love. It is something that is not easy to do, but Joyce offers practical advice once again on how to practice over and over until you conquer it! She has been through it all and uses her life experiences once again to lead us step by step through the process no matter how hard life seems. I would recommend this book for everybody. It is a must-read in my opinion!

I actually bought this book for a good friend of mine for her birthday. She wanted this book because she had read other books by Joyce Meyer. When she opened it, she started reading it and got so excited by what she was reading, that book was all we studied the rest of the evening. She has had numerous problems and the book is really helping her.

Joyce Meyer is my hero anyway!! I would probably love it if she wrote a book on balloons!! This book has helped me soooo much. It makes you stop and think about how much the devil does to try and win you over to his side. I Thank God for his blessings and I think God for Joyce Meyer.

I purchased this book for myself and also one for a dear friend and we both have not completed reading it, however, it is found to be very useful and helpful in our lives. It gives you a better understanding of various scriptures in the Bible, and how to change our way of thinking. I don't know what to say about this book, because I bought the book as gift to my daughter. But I have seen some of Joyce Meyer's TV. shows and heard some good things about her. I haven't read the book as of yet, but was refered to it by my daughter. She said that it was a wonderful book. I bought one for me & one for my heroin addicted son that is in rehab, hoping that it'll be helpful to boh of us. I'm looking forward to reading it & hoping that my son will also. Any positive reinforcement can never hurt anyone!!

This is a life-transforming book and the wisdom and truths contained within helped me to see life in a whole new way. This book is a must for any Christian. I love Joyce Meyer - she has a very direct style and gets right to the heart of the matter and gives plenty of biblical references to back up her teaching.
