Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer (1995, Paperback)

This book was a hard one to put down and a real eye and mind opener. Joyce's advice is easily understood, to the point, and well layed out. This is a great book for EVERYONE. Even if you thought you didn't have any battles in your own mind, once you started reading it you'd realize not one person that has ever lived has been free of Satan's mental attacks...not one.

I didn't know that ALL the non-positive things I thought, felt, and said were the rotten fruit the devil produced inside of me...even when it feels we can't seem to think, it's because of mind-binding spirits Joyce explains. And changing my mind and attitude to ALWAYS be positive (along with prayer) will help me to live a much more free and happy life. There are things in this book I never heard of, but yet make sense and thoughts and feelings in my mind that the devil does, which I always thought was just me.

This book has a great many ways the devil uses our minds explained in here along with Joyce's own personal experiences to help us understand what she means. And best of all she includes many scriptures from the Bible in each chapter to help us know what is and isn't God's way of thinking and being.

This is one of the best self help books I have ever read that is just packed full of wisdom and knowledge and I believe every single person alive should read it and apply it. This book has helped me and I KNOW it will help you too! God Bless! Jesus loves YOU!

Does joyce ever write a dog? This is a classic lay counselling session in a book. What is more simple than to renew your mind with the word of God? Nothing...I just need someone to remind me of that and joyce always does the job...thank you Joyce. Practically written and easy to understand and follow. I love Joyce Meyer books!

This is an excellent book. Joyce Meyer is a really neat lady and what I love about her the most is she "tells it like it is!" This book answered a lot of questions for me and helped me to understand a lot of Bible scripture. You should buy this book!!

I bought it for my small group. I haven't read enough of it yet to know if I like it or not. Some of the Bible verses do not correlate with ones in the Bible, which I thought was odd.

I love this book because it gives practical advise on how to live a fuller, happier life. We really do get to decide for ourselves what kind of life we have. The choice is ours!!! How we feel inside has little to do with the circumstances surrounding us. I would recommend this book to anyone looking to feel better about how they are living their life, their feelings about themselves, etc. Peace and joy are free, you just have to want them!!!

This book really has you take a long hard look at yourself and shows you where we fail our Lord on a daily basis.
