Battlefield: Bad Company (Playstation 3, 2008)

This is an excellent game that has a lot of depth that requires a bit of patience to play. By patience I mean you cannot simply run into enemy territory blasting away without failing, you'll have to scout out the area and proceed cautiously. Its fairly easy to stay alive if you are familiar with shooters, but once again you'll be best to approach each mission with a bit of tactics.

Pros:
-Excellent controls
-Sound is superb (all weapons sound great, different acoustics depending on where you are)
-Destructible environments (Cant find a door? Make one!)
-Entertaining characters (Bad Company = a bunch of army misfits)

Cons:
-720 resolution with no 1080 support

Only thing i can say is This Game Rocks. The Environments are fully Destructible well Except for roofs but still It is pretty darn Good. The single player is Great especially on Normal or Hard. You can Use various tools of Destruction such as RPG launchers, Tow Missiles, Air Strikes, Mortar Barrages, Grenades, Tanks and C4. The Vehicle Combat is Awesome and there is always more than one way to kill a tank. Helicopters in this Game can be lethal weapons against tanks but a tank can Fight back jus be prepared to run while doing so.

Multi-player is a Mix of chaos, Destruction, and Teamwork. Conquest (where You capture as many Command points as possible so you team can Spawn) is very fun and Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142 players Should Play this game it is funner than a Day at the Fair.

Gold Rush (where you try to demolish the enemy's gold crates while if you are the attacker sustaining as few casualties as possible to make it to the next gold crate. Is fun but not as fun as conquest in my opinion.

This is a very well balanced game and Very fun too. I Give it an 10/10

I am having the most fun I've had in a video game in a while playing Bad Company. Its essentially the intense combat you love from Call of Duty but more. Though it has its own place in the FPS genre, it's 24/7 fun with intense infantry and vehicle action. The multiplayer is A+ and the campaign isn't half bad as well, though I would not buy the game based on the campaign alone. Another notable thing are the graphics, which are slightly better than COD4. Oh, and did I mention the fully destructible terrain...Sick!

All in all, in my opinion Battlefield: Bad Company has not been given nearly enough credit that is deserves and is definitely a game worth getting. If you end up getting the game, feel free to message me. My ps3 gamertag is Bajorito

This game delivered exactly what I was looking for in a first person shooter. I previously owned this game but sold it thinking that I would never pick it up again. After a few months I wanted to play again so I picked it up. The online multiplayer is definately well worth the price and keeps you coming back for more. I especially love the destructable environments which no other game has. In all I recommend this game to anyone looking to have fun and wants to battle on HUGE maps, drive different vehicles, and play till the sequel comes later in the year.

The game is very good, the only flaw that I see is that it is not multi player unless it is used with the network. The soldiers dialog is hilarious and it makes thing more interesting. The graphic and sound effects are excellent. The missions are not too long and the fact that most of the envioroment can be destroyed takes it to another level. Would recommend it to people who like games like Call of Duty.

When it comes to First Person Shooters it's hard to compare any of the Battlefield games with other titles. Games such as Call of Duty come close but just do not have the huge envirements and skill level of gameplay that BF is known for. The graphics are gorgeous...the sound exceptionally realistic...and the effects are mind blowing. This is the first game that truly utilizes interactive envirements, with the player being able to shape his environment with weaponry etc. Finally what Battlefield game would be complete without a wide assortment of battle vehicles to tool around in! It gets boring just running around on your feet all day when you can jump in a tank to lay waste to your enemy! I also LOVE the fact that if you play this game like an idiot "rushing into gunfire etc..." and get killed you have to wait for a period of time to return...sometimes having to start from a previous position. If your like me a "skillful player" you get sick of the idiots online that just keep playing like morons and respawning constantly. At least this method helps weed out the nOObs! I am typically a PC gamer and this is my second title purchased for PS3. I give it a 10/10 points.

I haven't played through the campaign yet but I've heard good things about it and it looks good. As for the online play I love it! It's kind of like Call Of Duty 4 just much less serious and just as much fun.

The Price was great and it did arrive new and sealed; however, the packaging was damaged. The top right corner of the PlayStation 3 game's case was crushed. I was giving as a gift so this caused problems.

bad company is a very fun game. even though it doesn't beat cod4 i still bought it because it is one of the best shooters out there for right now. 100% complete destructible environments. never ending strategies because someone could blow up the wall in front of you and just come in charging at you.

Pros: Good gun selection, the ability to blow through walls is great, other games need to add this to their sequels. Cons: The story line wasn't that great, and the bad langauge was not needed.

if you like shooter games you'll likely enjoy this one. some of the dialogue is pretty funny. graphics are good. overall a pretty good game.

This is a great game for a great price. When you see a game for such a great price, you usually think to yourself, "it's probably not a good game"....that's what I thought, but was wrong.

Pros: Great online game play, with up to 24 people in a game session, it makes for hours of fun and track your stats on the game's website. Graphics are top notch. Nice variety of weapons. Lots of items to unlock.

Cons: Only one player can play from a single console.

I highly recommend this game, you'll find that you won't be able to put down the controller. You can purchase this game new in the store for $29.99 or less.

This is a great game for having fun and blowing stuff up. It is mature due to language and violence. A real great game to unwind with after work.

This game is total badass... Especially if you buy the gold edition because it comes with unlocks already. Also, buying the Sniper rifle unlock is a must, this gun is just death personified. Ok, I'm rambling on, just purchase this along with the game and you should be good to go....

This game has all the great aspects of a top notch game. Great graphics, great story, fun environments, and mostly multiplayer! Its a ton of fun! :)

After 6000 kills in online multiplayer, I must say this game is addictive. The problem is that few online gamers play as a squad. Most just want to be Lone Rangers and rack up kills. Part of the reason for that is the faulty VOIP - Voice Over Internet Protocol. Sony and EA have done a substandard job of making sure bluetooth headsets consistently connect, so you have to play without communication at times. It is also difficult to connect to friends who you want to form a squad with. For whatever reason, the servers do not connect you with your requested friends. You really need patience to form a squad.

For the average gamer, it's fun. For the advanced gamer, there are some drawbacks. Some of the Wildcards and Patches are nearly impossible to earn, ie, 4 helicopter roadkills in a round and 50 Naval Vehicle roadkills. Give me a break. Still it's the best online multiplayer shooter I know for PS3, even better than COD4 and SOCOM. I like it!

This game is great. You go through the game as the "New Guy" but you do the majority of the fighting. Haggard is always reloading, Sweetwater os always running his mouth and is not much help. Only one that sense about himself other than you is the Sarg, but is willing to put the "New Guy" Preston Marlo, in harms way instead of the other guys. I don't know if it is because he likes the others better or it is because you are the one that Kicks Butt. You drive Humvees, dune buggies, Armored Personnel Carriers, Medium and Heavy Tanks (on golf courses), fly hellicopters and shoot artillary pieces all the while fighting Russians and invading Neutral Countries while in search of the Mercenary's Gold. And finally at the end, they call you by your first name because you are the best.

battle feild bad company is a first person shooter and has a open world like grand theft auto, which is great! .This game is is just like any other first person shooter "you shoot stuff" but also it has very destructable enviroments, if you see a guy peeking at you from around a corner of a house , toss a gernade at him to bring the wall down to take down his cover, know a building where a bunch of guys are hiding? call inn an air strike to take the whole building down! its stuff like that, that make this game fun.It is also an "open world" game, meaning you can go anywhere, you can complete each mission the way you see fit.Online is where its at! if you like teaming up with your buddies for some online battles ,suit up! and watch out for snipers!
