I gave in and purchased this for the desire to sit in front of a HE111. I have had this game for about 2 weeks now, and so some of the feedback given, will lack depth. The interface of setting up the allotment of fighters, bombers, and dive bombers really needs to be redone...The manual is in the form of a PDF thats installed in the BoB folder & I have yet, to print it out to fine tune the complex interaction. BoB2 as it is known, is a ok flight game. There are too many points in which, one can pick at to death about the bugs that still exists, and at times, this game will just stop and crash. Dissapointing as it can seem, I still enjoy the other positive aspect of this game.

One thing that really bugs the hell out of me, is that if ANY game that comes out, esp. something like this, they really need to have a frekkin' person that can speak the German language, not the 50% Hollywood garbage...ugh.

The passing sounds of Spitfire & Hurricanes sounds nice, it gives off a presence of admiration that makes you go "whoa". Being inside the HE111 the engine sounds is more generic than anything.

The positive side...pretty decent graphics...my enjoyment comes in the form of anticipation more than anything else...I'm sitting in the nose of the HE111 taking in the fantastic view of the horizon, the formation of other bombers, group of 109's above and seeing the England's coastline coming up. I'm at my desk, eating dinner while approaching the the shores. You can see in a distance a group of faded black dots approaching...it gives me anough time to finish the dinner, and get set.

I do wish the AI is more challenging, rather than just sitting behind the formation and try to sneak up behind you. Yawn...once in a while, a close encounter will occur.

When the aircraft gets damaged to the point of it being all over, it either goes in a tailspin, or you find yourself bailed out, not by choice...bummer...it would of been nice to be able to ride out the descent of a dying aircraft in a more realistic fashion...

Graphics - Very Good
Interface - Eh
Value Gameplay - Good
But it for $39 to $49? Nooooooo

If the developers decide to come out with BoB3, they really need to make adjustment on a serious note...half stepping it is not going to do it...there will be other games that will surpass a misguided improvement.

Thanks for your time here
