Battalion Wars 2 (Wii, 2007)

I love war strategy games, so this game satisfies my interests in that respect. I love that you can control different units and that you can switch from controlling one type of unit to another with ease. Once you get used to the controls, the gameplay is great for it really takes advantage of the Wii motion sensing remote. I have yet to try the online mode, so I cannot comment on that.

Cons: I wish there were more boards/levels/missions. You can pretty much finish the game in a weekend if you don't care about getting all "A" ratings. There should be a skirmish mode where you can pick which nation you want to control, which nation you want the CPU to control, and then a board to skirmish on. A board editor would be great too!

Dislike: Really annoying voice (Narrator) in first campaign and I don't Believe you can skip the text which gets a little annoying.

Cool graphics and a fun way to play. Your character can fire weapons and also commands a battalion of different troops. You can give orders by clicking on targets and sent troops to take care of your light work. Lots of vehicles to operate also which definatley adds to the fun. Check out the battalion wars 2 site for nice video of game play that's what i did.

What i loved about the game is the interaction using the wii remotes. Its a good game with cute cartoon like characters. Missions are challenging enough, and he online play is great. Its like command and conquer but without the building. The only thing i did not like is not being able to buildup and tech up. I think doing this would of added element of strategy which i think is missing. Most war games with different types of units have that style and it helps to make the game more enjoyable. I loved the sea battle addition to it. Over all its a great game.

This is a great game by WII my kids do not want to but it down. Some nights the kids take the game over to other people homes to play.

fun to play! for a while, then it becomes a bit boring but overall, a cool game and worth buying. I wanted to buy it because it looked cool and interesting just as it was when it first arrived and the promotions for it were cool too!

The game was not easily beaten by 35 yr old! The game has yet to be beaten by my 10 yr old after month of trying! Fun game! Violence is non-graphic! No blood or guts! Good game for all ages if you don't mind a little shooting violence. Reinforces leadership skills and delegating jobs quickly!

I HAVE NOT PLAYED THE GAME YET. BUT IT ARIVED FAST AND IN PERFECT CONDITION SO BASED ON THAT I WOULD PURCHASE FROM THIS SELLER AGAIN.

Pretty easy, not really challenging but good quality & done well. Cross between Mario Bros and medal of honor..... leaning much more towards Mario though. Lots of fun missions, definitely worth what I paid.

Cons: Not a two players game for people sharing a Wii console. Players should be able to exchange their own messages while playing, rather than the predefined messages. When a player decides not to play with another player anymore, he/she is not able to specify any reason for it. There should be a place to specify reason for not playing anymore with another player (e.g. Gotta sleep. Homework, etc). Players should be able to rank one another after a game. E.g. Excellent Player, Good Player, Average Player, etc.

dont buy it as a family game, but buy it for one child to have a personal game, or adult. it really is a awsome game great story line. it is going to be worth the money you pay for it. have fun.

This game is awesome , this is the first FPS I have played on the WII ,graphics are 3of5 , controls are 5of5 , campaign storyline is 4/5 if you are an FPS fan you will like this game...

I like the game because does not have a common way to play for a console.
about the the "Wi Fi Connection" Option, seems not many people are playing it online... its too hard to find someone to play with, so the 50% of the game cant be played, but still interesting to play the Solo campaigns. myabe that why its easy to find this game with cheap prices.
i recommend this game to have another title to play for a low price and still have some fun, not usual on other Wii titles for Solo modes, if you are not a kid.

I decided to buy it because my son wanted it for Christmas and I couldn't find it locally. The purchase was made without any problems and we received the product as described.

typical shoot em up game. More on the simple side, probably good for younger teens. Kind of slow action and rather predictable.

Pro:
Graphics could be better but for price it compares to GameCube. It also has the ability to play on line with friends.

Con: Have to listen to intro before playing game. I guess you can save the game you are playing and enter the game at that point latter on.

this is an excellent game and if your looking for a battle this is the game with array of arsenial and planes i recommend this game if your looking for hours of fun

A fun game, but a lot to remember but should be no problem if played a lot.
Nice tutourals on how to play, move etc.
