Tim Burton does an amazing job with this film, it's dark and chilling
The original Batman movie was recently surpassed as my favorite Batman film by Batman Begins, but not by much.
This was the best Batman film of the original 4. Michael Keetan was a great original Batman, and Jack Nicholsan was perfectly cast as the Joker. This film captured what Batman is supposed to be, and became an instant hit without being cartoony.
Final Verdict:
5/5
Rent or Buy?: This is the only Batman film of the first 4 that I would call a must buy. Great movie that doesn't lose its magic.

) This was a gift for my son who has an amazing Batman collection. He wanted the original movie on VHS. I was able to obtain this used copy, he loved it. Great gift.

The product arrived in excellent condition.I like Michael Keaton. I didn't have a copy of it. I feel pressured to write more when I don't have any more to say. I think this should be changed about review writing or I just won't write anything.

batmanThis was great and everything they siad it was, I bought this because my Grandson had played with my son in laws movies and had damaged this covers and my son in law was very upset so I was able to replace the damaged ones and save my grandson from being in a whole lot of trouble who is only 2.

I love Jack Nicholson. He brings his own special genius to every movie and this is no exception.This is in the same catagory as Spyderman and Superman and others - Super-hero spoof comedy adventure that lives in the soul of every guy who still loves the the little 8 year old boy inside of him and enjoys feeding that healthy side of his nature. I want to play Batman like when I was little.
Rating?-Fabulous---if you love to laugh. The joker: a sinister, loveable character that loves being the bad guy with a twinkle in his eye all through the movie. This is definitely a movie for guys. Jack at his best.

My 5 year old son LOVES Batman. Wanted to get him all the various versions. Batman/Robin, Batman & Joker, Batman & 2 face, Riddler etc etc. Still need Batman & the Penguin - working on that next. Michael Keaton played an awesome Batman on this version.
