World's finest!

Although it was in the more streamlined, stylized design, it kept most of the charm and maturity of Bruce Timm's Batman Animated Series of the ninties. It revolves around a green dragon statue stolen by the Joker in Gotham, made of a certain alien element that Lex Luthor might pay any sum of money for, and Batman hot on his trail to the city which Superman calls his home. This leads to the first meeting and team-up of the two titans of justice; and the natural clashing of style and butting of heads--humor definitely intact. If only they would make a World's Finest live action movie sometime in the future. For now, this will do. Batman still comes off as a vigilant, obsessing, pseudo psycho among the shiny, squeaky clean, skyscrapers in the future forward Metropolis. It still proves that Joker cannot be tamed, and to make a deal with him is to make a deal with the devil. The coupling of Wayne Enterprises and LexCorp set a good mood for the escalating theme, and everyone in the film had their own foil. The only gripe I had was the constant reference to Lex as "Luth-or". A worthwhile movie indefinitely for any big fan or novice.
