Batman: The Movie (DVD, 2008)

A wise man once said "The 60s Batman movie is the greatest ever." I should know, because I was that wise man.

OK, it might not be the greatest movie, but it is one of the awesomest movies ever. Only in 'Batman' could intelligent writers come up with some of the most illogical situations and cheesiest dialog committed to screen.

A Yacht disappears in Gotham Harbour ("How can a yacht simply disappear... unless, it was never really there!"). On board was a 'superdehydrator', a machine that can extract the moisture from any living being, and in of the most logical displays of logic ever, Batman and friends logically come to the (correct) conclusion that the culprits are the combined forces of Penguin, Joker, the Riddler and Catwoman, apparently intent on world domination.

'Batman is scene-after-scene of pure brilliance - great situations, and the greatest dialog ever. 'Batman' is very funny, but only if you appreciate and enjoy the style, otherwise you will hate it. But only those who lack a sense of awesomeness would not like it, and who is really so un-awesome, that they can't even find the captioned fights just that little bit amusing?

8/10 - Awesome, simply awesome

This is the TV Batman. It is NOT The movie Batman. This movie is based on the TV series with Adam West and Burt Ward. Let's not forget the unforgettable Lee Merriweather, Cesar Romero, Burgess Meredith, and Frank Gorshin as the villians. Fun to watch, and brings back memories. If you are a fan of the TV series, this is a must have for your collection!

This is just the most amazing movie, from the shark to batman trying to get rid of the bomb. Amzing and superb that they brought it to DVD

it is a very good classic movie.. The only thing that drives me nuts is that you can tell how fake it is.. BUt I think that is what makes it a classic...

Nothing like a cheesy batman and holy robin saying to make you feel like a kid again. What seemed like top of the line then may be silly to most of us. But i enjoy it very much.

Truly the maaterpeice of all the batman's. This is the one that made me truly fall in love with the superhero that rules over all others!

Really great movie, its a classic. I had to buy it for my son to watch. Batman and Robin have to fight three bad guys and one bad girl, cat woman, to stop them from trying to take over.

I bought this movie for my 4 year old son and he loves it. He is a huge batman and robin fan. My husband and I alos enjoyed watching the movie. We can both remember watching the movie when we were younger.

I loved the original Batman show while I was growing up. Loved the show so much! I never missed an episode. Highly recommend. Brings back great memories from my childhood.

this is a movie i loved when i was a kid and now my own kids especially my youngest is totally into the batman tv series and the movie she loves catwoman and the joker I recently bought this movie for her as well as the entire tv series and she just watches them over and over again

we love this movie, clean family entertainment, wish we had the series.this is our second copy and its so funny watching the old batman movies, the newer ones are alittle scary for little boys, and dark.

I've been looking for any Adam West Batman DVD's for my mentally handicapped brother. He loves the old batman and I was glad that I found it for him for christman. He was very happy. It was excellent quality and had no problem with delivery. Thank you and I'll probably be looking into ordering other batman movies in the furture.
