Batman: Prince vs Elfman

If you consider Tim Burton's Batman a great movie, you should have both soundtracks. I am more into the score rather than the songs used in the film. So it may sound a little bias.
I'm not a Prince fan, nor did I listen to anything else he's done, but there was enough in the movie for me to say it's very good. After having watched the movie at least 10 times, (I had the VHS and it was on tv several times), the tracks still make me smile. Especially since they added some of the dialog from the movie, though some tracks had the dialog kept repeating was annoying.
My favorite tracks are:
4. Partyman
6. Trust
I'm not a music critic, so I won't judge the music, which makes this review kinda lame. But if you're a Prince fan or a fan of this movie, you'll enjoy it. My 2 favorite tracks listed above were just fun scenes in the movie. Also having only 9 tracks on an album is pathetic. If you can get this CD cheap, great; but if you have to pay more than $10US, you’re getting ripped off, unless you’re a die-hard fan who’s a “completist” when it comes to Prince or Batman. Just my opinion.
In case you're wondering, I gave a 3.5/5 rating, compared to the score soundtrack 4.5/5.
