It's not great, but it's still The Batman.

The series is another interpretation highly stylized with the asian Manga/Anime. It's also written more purely on an action / adventure level more intended for younger audiences, focusing the stories more on the gadgets and the fighting than on the character development or interaction. It definitely lacks the maturity and the depth of the older Batman Adventures from Bruce Timm.
If you've seen the first season of the Batman then you know exactly what to expect here. There's no particular groundbreaking character development. No huge new character introductions just more of the same kung fu and gizmos of the first.
It's decent, would be good for kids to while away the time but honestly unless you're a diehard Batman fan you can skip it and wait for the future seasons which will bring Batgirl and Robin.
