it's about time someone FINALLY gave us a Batman game worthy of it's namesake!!!
Batman is one of the GREATEST comic book heroes of ALL time,
as well as my personal favorite and i must say....
.....this game was more addicting than candy coated CRACK!!!!!!
i just COULD NOT put it down!!!!!!!
all i wanted to do was play it!!!!!
the voice acting was PERFECT!!!!!
Kevin Conroy, and Mark Hamill from Batman:the Animated series
reprise their vocal performances, along with many others.
the combat was a nice blend of combo attacks and counters, with plenty of upgrades.
you will FEEL the power that is THE BATMAN!!!!!!!
very fluid gameplay as far as the hand to hand fighting is concerned!
the stealth aspect was not as deep as Splinter Cell, but what game ever is?
but stll, sneaking in shadows as The Dark Knight was very, VERY enjoyable!!!!!
and with the assistance of the Bat Gadgets.....guilty pleasure!!!!!
the graphics.....BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
the sound effects.........it's almost like you're REALLY there!!!!!
this was everything i hoped for!!!!!!
it'd be nice if we see more Batman games of this high quality!!!!!

I bought this game becasue it came highly recommended from some of my co-workers. I was surprised even after all the hype about this game. it is one of the best games I have ever played. The story line sucks you in. The free flowing fighting system work very well, this is not a button masher. There are many different and unique moves that Batman can perform during fights and normally. I highly recommend this game to anyone, especially if you are a fan of Batman.

Overall, i enjoyed this game very much. The best part about it is that finally there is a game that lets you feel what it would be like to be Batman. It's not a straight up brawler and it's not a splinter cell clone. It is a Batman game.
The different components work well together, and along with an engaging and story line, thanks to actual Batman writers working on it, makes this probably one of the more addicting games I have played in the past year. And there's plenty of hidden items that will keep people busy, if they're into that sort of thing.
Really, my only problem with this game is a few stealth sequences that seem more chorish than they should be. While they add a distinct flavor to the game, it's a little unsettling, like mayonnaise on french fries.
Even so, I would recommend this game to anyone, be they Batman fans or no.

Amazing graphics, even better story/acting.....worth every penny spent!! I am a huge comic fan, and this is one of the first games I was not disappointed with, although I have yet to play the new Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 game, but it's like comparing apples and oranges.
If you like the detective part of Batman's character, this game is for you, if you like the kicking butt part of Batman's character, this game is for you....if you love well made games period, this ones for you!!
Do yourself a favor, go out and pick this one up, you'll be glad you did!

Love how you can get the full aspect of Batman's abilities.. excellently made great puzzles as well, love playing it over and over even though I already beat it just playing it on Hard mode now.. I beat the easy and the normal now for the Hard mode :P

Excellent game!!If you ever dreamed of feeling what it would be like to be in Batman's shoes, we'll, this game will definitely rock your world. This game has excellent graphics that makes Batman look real, to every ripping muscle to the way his cape flows as he runs or the way he fights.The sound is great with Batman sounding really cool and the joker sounding like himself and crazier than ever.
The playability is great, I never had in controlling issues or camera issues so no worries there.
Many parts of this game is taken from all the comic books so you'll see many enemy's just from the comics. some huge bosses and great fights.
The Asylum is huge with a lot of open space to play in and freedom to roam if want before taking on the next mission area. The part I love the most is taking out all the thugs, by taking them out silently from behind, jumping up from a grate below or stringing them up by their feet from the gargoyles above.

I like this game because it's truly the best batman and comic book game that has ever been made. i love it because of the graphics and the voices used for each character, true WB batman voices. good dialogue too. i haven't found anything to dislike about it. perhaps the controls take some getting used to. I decided to buy it because ebay has the best prices on video games, well, actually anything it seems. and also because arkham asylum is one of the greatest concepts ever for a video game.
