The graphics are excellent, the cut-scenes and in-game graphics are seamless, and this is a great addition to the Fall 2009 line-up. It looks, feels, and has undertones of being "Bioshock-esque". This title pushes this generations graphics and leaves the purchaser wanting more. The shadows, lighting effects, colors, but more importantly the motions and combat animations are great, and really immerse you into the game. The bad guys, though repetitive, are detailed along with the backgrounds, and environments. This is a rich, and engrossing, environment.

Games have had problems with cheesy actors, but this title gets Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamil to do the voices of Batman and the Joker (from the Animated series). The ambiance is set in the different areas by the increasing tones of heightening sense of importance through the use of music in this game.

If you are a comic book fan it is simply one of the best video game experiences. I've played enough video games to say that the one downfall of this game is that the boss battles are a little lacking. But the fact that I still rated this game as excellent goes to show you how great I think this game is.

This is how a Batman game should be.The fighting system is almost fluent.I found myself thinking as I was playing that this is what Batman,Joker etc. would do,say,etc.The morgue scene while your under Scarecrow's gas is mindblowing.They put so much great stuff in to this game.There are alot of surprises in the story mode,things you would not think they would add.Having Kevin Conroy as the voice of Batman and Mark Hamill as The Joker was simply a stroke of genius.Who else could do these characters better? NO ONE!
Just finished the story mode.Looking for all the Riddler's clues.Planning on playing the story mode again,it was that good.Also,only on the PS3,you can download The Joker,to play as him in the challenge mode.Great to play as "The Clown Prince of Crime".I also loved how Batman's costume would show rips and look tattered after fighting along in the game,especially his cape.If you are a Batman fan,get this game no matter what system you own.The only disappointment I had in the story mode was the Killer Croc part.Could have been way better.Maybe they have something better in mind for him.You know what I mean if you saw the scene at the end of the game.All in all,so far,this is the ultimate Batman game.All I can say in ending is, in the next game bring in different villians,and please MORE!,MORE!,MORE!

Regardless of whether you're getting sucked into the Story mode or competing for high scores in the Challenge mode, Batman: Arkham Asylum does an outstanding job of letting you be Batman. Everything about this game--the impressive visuals, stirring soundtrack, superb voice acting, fiendish puzzles, hard-hitting combat--feels like it has been lovingly crafted by a development team that's both knowledgeable and passionate about the source material. Miss out on this one and the joke's on you.

That game is definitely one of the best games of 2009. This is a quality game that is well worth buying. I played 12 hours a day for 4 days, it`s a little on the short side but the gameplay was so good. Some say its the bioshock of 2009.

Batman Arkham Asylum PS3

This is a good game to play if your a batman fan or even if your not, its fun to play the joker! The graphics are very good and very clear. Its like watching a movie. Def. recomment it!

Pros: Cool gadgets, Joker is in it, and explore Arkham.
Cons: Only that it didn't have more gadgets to use.
All I can say is that with such good gameplay I can only hope that a sequel is made of this game.
