Batman: The Animated Series - Vol. 4 (DVD, 2005)

This is my favorite season of the Animated Series. I really enjoyed the episodes as well as the extras. My only complaint is that there isn't enough extras. For a 4 DVD set, I was hoping for much more. But what is there is good. I have no true complaints.

This is the season where they introduce Nightwing and how it all began! Another great season of Batman the Animated series! Great episodes. One of the best seasons. Definitely recommended to all Batman fans!

My son has to watch Batman at least every other day. This series allows him to watch short episodes without burnng me out watching the same thing over and over. There were a couple of episodes that were a little dark for a 4 year old, but overall the content has life lessons that are easy to recognize even for his age. The short episodes work great with his short attention span (age related) and has him acting out several of the episodes while it is playing. If you like Batman, this one is for you!

It completed my collection. But, it leaves you dissapointed compared to the other DVDs of the series. Still, it is Batman so there are a few gems in there with great writing and plot twists and one-line remarks. It is worth your money if you find it cheap.. really cheap.

I bought this for my 2 year old son. He loves it and I enjoy watching the episodes as well. These cartoons are awesome! Now my son and I can enjoy watching T.V. together.

Batman Volume 4 definitely has a different feel than the previous collections did. The first two dvd collections consist entirely of episodes from the groundbreaking BATMAN:THE ANIMATED SERIES cartoon. However, certain episodes on volume 3 and the entire collection of cartoons on Volume 4 are from THE NEW ADVENTURES OF BATMAN AND ROBIN. Most of the voices are the same, and there are new characters introduced.Nightwing makes his first appearance in Volume 4, and Robin is now Tim Drake , Batgirl is also a emi regular member of the 'team' as well.
While I think the episodes on Volume 4 are great and welcome the introduction of the new characters from the Batman family, it must be said that the 4th installment is decidedly less darker than the early episodes. Batman is no longer the grim loner he was in the first two seasons, but is now the head of a team of super heroes. Robin is truly a 'boy' wonder, with wise cracks to boot. there is no camp, thank goodness.
The animation is a bit different as well, viewers will notice some differences in the appearance of the major villains. Some , like Killer Croc - look better, while others , like The Joker - do not.
Still a great animated series, still well worth owning. but definitely different.

If you a a fan of Batman movies or cartoons, then this DVD set is highly recommended. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

My 4-year old grandson loves this series. Had I viewed the episodes before allowing him to see them (which I should have done), I would have waited until he was a bit older to turn them over to him. Now I feel obligated to stay near as he watches so as to discuss the at times too adult verbage and scenarios with him.

I love this series! The voice acting and storylines are flawless. I have been a Batman fan forever. I Didn't car for "The Batman" series. The acting just wasn't the same as Kevin Conrys.

I love the fact that the item was listed as good condition, but was actually brand new. It looks as if it was opened and then never played. It was a great price and not marked up to an unfair price. The shipping was fast and it was packaged well. The seller was quick with a tracking number and status of my package. I don't think a retail chain could have done it better. This is truly a great ebayer hands down. 5 stars across the board.

I have never been into cartoons. Recently my 3rd child fell in love with Batman. We have a relative that borrowed us the first three volumes of Batman: The Animated Series. We all became hooked on this series. It is written well, drawn wonderful, and perfect for any age who views it.

The writers for this series took it a step further and came up with some movies based on the cartoons of Batman. I would recommend this series to anyone who might have a slight interest in the comic world!

another in the long anticapated sereis it is the last vol and some tiems the thoughest to get for the price and availbility retail. It is the classic animation in the 5 year serirs. vol 1- 4 is a must have for any fan of the Batman or animation series ,its color and art is very well done.

In this volume, I liked the new animation, the script, the characters,... .In a word, I all liked ; I decided to buy it because it is the alone better Batman's animation which exists ! Don't miss it !

Awesome stories and animation make this vol. the best of the set.
Great artwork with excelent writing compounded with talented actors doing the voices give the dark knight the edge needed to make the character believable to all ages.

I bought the DVD box set because I am a big fan of the Television series and used to watch it all the time.
