Basket Case 3 - The Progeny (DVD, 2004)

The movie is terrible. The DVD quality is excellent. A few years ago I watched the movie on late night cable tv. I got tired. The movie sucked. Bad special effects,boring story. I was about to give up and go to bed. Then smoking hot scene-only a couple minutes-with two hot twins. They are volumpsious-not like today's pencil-thin playboy playmates. Anyway, I lost tape about 9 years ago. I'm new to ebay, I remembered name of movie, found it on ebay and bought it. I only watch scene with hot twins. They are also in closing credits, I haven't made it that far yet.Hot twins- only reason I bought DVD.

First off, I am writing this review for B Movie fans( like myself) and that's it. The reason for that is simply because if you are not a fan of bizarre low budget horror films then you will find this film to be appallingly bad. That said, if you are a genre fan, then it's very likely this would make a welcome edition to your collection. If you watched and enjoyed the first two Basket Case films then I can say without a doubt, you will enjoy this one as well.
In Basket Case 2 Belial, the deformed bodiless head with two arms, falls in love with a strikingly similar looking female. They get it on in what has to be one of the funniest and weirdest love making scenes in B Movie history. It looks as though Belial has finally found happiness, but his brother has different plans. Using some yarn and a knitting needle, his brother reattaches Belial to his side in the films bloody conclusion.
Basket Case 3 picks up right where 2 left off. Belial has been detached from his brother's side for the second time and gone into seclusion. You see, he has a lot on his mind. He's going to be a Daddy! There's only one man that Granny Ross, the kindly old woman who runs the home for freaks, knows who can deliver the baby properly and discretely. Since he lives in another town, Granny, Belial, Belial's woman, Belial's brother, and a crew of some of the most outlandish looking freaks ever created pile into an old bus and go on a road trip.
Their destination turns out to be full of surprises, but all goes well and Belial's woman gives birth to an entire litter of vicious, yet cuddly, tiny Belials. Everything appears like it's going to fine, but things take a turn for the worst when two local policemen break into the home and kidnap the newborns. This sends Belial and his brother and yet another bloody and violent rampage.
Basket Case 3 is filled with subversive humor and bizarre characters. The special fx are fairly good and imaginative for a film with such a small budget. Check out Belial's new mechanical body with a giant claw near the end of the film and you'll see what I mean.
Basket Case 3 is great, gooey B Movie Goodness.
