Pros:
Challenging yet fun gameplay, very impressive sound, different views of the field
Cons:
Computer-controlled fielders are not always perfect, controls not 100% accurate
Gameplay, graphics, sound, strategies/spoilers, bugs... read it all in this review of Jaleco's "Bases loaded" for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)! [Introduction] I first played this game during a few months in 1988 on a cousin's NES console, and haven't had another chance to play it until a few weeks ago. Out of all the baseball games I have played on Atari 2600, Sega Genesis, personal computers, etc., I'd say "Bases loaded" is one of the best I ever had my hands on, mainly due to its superb gameplay. That is why I decided that such a classic game should not go without a review here...
