As a former professional bartender, and one that bartended both at a major casino and in a college nightclub, I found the Bartender's Bible to be lacking in some respects. It is great for some of the classic drinks, but carries no information on shot mixing. If this reference were to include a shot mixing guide, it would prove itself invaluable.

Best Bartender BookI was so delighted when this book arrived. I have just been hired as a bartender and I wasn't sure how to make EVERY drink and I read this book from cover to cover. It will help me so much when someone orders a drink that I am not familiar with.

Always wanted to know what was in a drink. Now I know.I've had lots of parties and always served beer or maybe one or two mixed drinks. I always felt bad when I could'nt make a certain mixed drink one of my guest would ask me to mix. This book has party ideas for food and drinks that I have never thought about. I will be a better host at my next party. Thanks again.

) I love this book because it is very comprehensive. It has recipes for so many different types of drinks that way you won't get bored with drinking the same one over and over again. I bought the book because I got a bar set for Christmas and than I moved into a new apartment about a month and a half later. I have so many cookbooks I figured I should get this one so my collection could be more complete.
