Barney in Concert

This is an older video from 1990 with Barney in concert, at the Magestic Theater in Dallas, Texas. It starts out showing children of all ages and backgrounds, and their parents going into the theater and getting seated, ready for the big show.
It features many of the traditional Barney songs that encourage the children in the audience to participate. Barney likes to make kids feel special and does a great job with "Everyone is Special". He introduces his friends, The Backyard Gang with "Backyard Gang Rap" and "We are Barney and the Backyard Gang", after which the children help with the rest of the show. You will hear "Down on Granpa's Farm", introducing sounds that various farm animals make, the ABC song done in English, Hebrew and French, and Mr. Knickerbocker, when Baby Bop is introduced as a forever 2 year old. Baby Bop is named after doing a dance performance where she really does Bop. Then she does her rendition of "Itsy Bitsy Spider". There are performances to other tunes such as "Where is Thumbkin", "Sally the Camel", "Bubble, Bubble Bath" and "Pufferbellies". The show ends with Barney's favorite "I love you".
I don't believe this video has been put on DVD and the one we had became worn out from continuous play. At that point, I searched Ebay and found 2 to buy. I had to have more than one because it is my granddaughter's favorite. She use to call it "Barney in Dessert". That is what she thought it sounded like. Here, months later, she still loves this video and we watch it every time she comes over.
Children from ages 2-8 will love this life-like video.
