Bare Bones by Kathy Reichs (2004, Paperback, Reprint)

While I really like Kathy Reichs and enjoy her her genre and able female heroine, naturally some of her novels are more inspired than others. Some of her earlier ones are better but this one gets more than a passing grade also because K. R simply does not write average novels.

I like the dry humor in all of her books, her style of writing. Since I'm interestd in the medical field, the procedures and anatomic descriptions are always a good learning experience.

Kathy Reich's novels are always excellent. In Bare Bones you see a lot more interaction between Brenann and Ryan, which is always entertaining!

Per her usual, Kathy Reichs' Bare Bones is damn compelling, and that's just the first couple of chapters. Sometimes her books are a little too chilling for me (I said sometimes), but this one has me pouring through the pages for more. It's well-written and truly brilliant in so many ways. You'll want to read it in one sitting.
