Barbie & the Diamond Castle (DVD, 2008)

Barbie movies are a hit or miss, this one you MUST pass on. The 'bad guys' are not shown on the box, nor are they mentioned. It's hard to get a good read on Barbie movies since they're never rated 'officially.'

The dark side of this movie terrified my 7 & 5 year old children. They were up all night and the devilish dragon and the green dark evil smoke have really spooked them. I urge you to reconsider, this movie is not for small children!! Material is too grown up for most little girls.

Just darling! A Sweet Friends story! A great addition to the Barbie movie collection. Beautiful music by Katharine McPhee of American Idol.

I have two great grand daughters. They love the Barbie fairy tales as well as I do. Will buy more of these series.

bought for my daughter opened it and tried to play it couple days ago turned out to be a bootlegged copy and does not work!

I bought this movie for my granddaughter. It is a great movie and the price with shipping was cheaper than walmart. She has really enjoyed watching it over and over. I would recommend this movie to any one who has a little girl that loves barbie movies.

This was top on the Christmas list for my 7 year old who is a Barbie NUT. The movie delivers and kept her totally enthralled. I would recommend this to any parent looking for a great kids movie.

This movie is cute. My daughter loves it. This is one of the few movies that she has, that I can actually sit through. It teaches the value of friendships.

My daughters had seen this movie once before. Then, they decided that they really liked this movie. So, for my oldest daughter's birthday, we decided to get her this movie. They love to watch it!

All the Barbie movies are very well done. They contain a message of goodness for young children. My granddaughter (3) begs to watch BaaBee movies. I use them as "rewards" which works well. I just wish there were more available.!

Hi, my niece wanted this DVD when we were at Sam's Club but it was $12. I knew I could get it much cheaper on Ebay. And I was not disappointed!! Although this Barbie & the Diamond Castle DVD was used, watching it was still exactly the same as a brand new one. PLUS I SAVED like $7!! Totally, the cost of the DVD it's self ($1.80!!) and the shipping ($3) was only $4.80!!!! My niece was HAPPY & I enjoyed watching it with her myself!!

My daughter would give it a 5-star, but I've seen better kids movies. Lots of singing, castles, horses, and girls dressed as princesses...all the things my daughter loves.

Another winner from the Barbie movie collection. This movie is entertaining for the whole family. The music is well written and performed. There is even a bonus music video by American Idols Katherine McVee. My girls want to watch it everyday. And every member of our family has been heard humming or singing these great tunes. 2 thumbs up!

I bought this movie for my 7 year old granddaughter. When she got it, she sat and watched it 3 times. It kept her from getting into things and from making a mess. She came to spend the night the following weekend and watched it 3 times again. It is nice that for such a small investment that she gets so much enjoyment. Recommend this for all little girls who like Barbie movies.
