My 5 year old daughter loves this movie. She loves the music and the fact that it has a princess in it. I feel it is a good role model in the fact that Barbie finds a way to solve her own problem and uses her intelligence to do so. While there is a prince in the story, Barbie does not rely on him to make her happy or solve her problems. Or rescue her. She is a strong female and follows her hart to make herself happy. This is a lesson any female could use. I recomend the Barbie princess movies any day!!
