Barbie Pet Rescue (Game Boy Color, 2001)

I purchased this game for my 5 year old daughter-She received a Game Boy Color from my Nefew when he got the Newest GameBoy For Christmas. She did not have any games which she could easily play, so I set out to find ones that were at her skill set with characters that she would enjoy. I played this game before she did, and from an adult perspective, I found it repetitive. There are only 4 different short games which you play to advance, three of which are very very similar, with the only difference being that you are either in a car or boat...There is a Match Game which is challenging. My Daughter, however LOVES this game, she will play it for hours and still has not mastered it. I DO fear however that as soon as she figures out how to complete each game she will most likely quickly become bored with it...But she has had it for some time now and she is still entertained by it. Bottom line, if you are looking to purchase it for a Young Girl Player, who is NOT extremely Skilled at game play, then this game is perfect!
