Barbie as The Island Princess (Wii, 2007)

My daughter LOVES to dress up the character. The actual games were a little confusing at first; you are playing against another character, even in single player mode. Also, you have to coordinate two movements; moving up/down and throwing rocks/picking flowers, ect. My daughter and I play together so that she only has to focus on one movement. She is 5yrs old. She loves it because she LOVES the movie and we play it together. Not many games out there tailored toward very young princesses, therefore, it was well worth buying.

A little tricky for my 4 yr old however my 5 yr old gets it. Cute concept, although it takes longer than usual to load the games. I felt it was more involved than it needed to be for a child's game. I do like that in some of the games the two players play together, instead of against each other, encourages teamwork and you don't really know who has gotten more points just what both players' total points are at the end. My daughter loves Rosella so I'm sure she'll play even just to hear the music.

My daughter was able to play it mostly on her own, I had to help her understand just a few hand instructions. She wasn't too thrilled about the different levels since she wanted to go straight to the castle. However, she was so excited to get to the third level and can't wait to get to the castle.

I bought this for my 3 year old grand-daughter who loves it! It is very educational....she loves dressing Barbie and going on the adventures with her. I feel it is an excellent tool in eye/hand cordnation and her thought process.

This game is for older kids would not suggest for a 5 year old. I am adult and I had a hard time trying to move the remote and follow the directions to the game when I had it set on multiplayer mode with my daughter. There was only 3 boards that my 5 year old and my 10 year old could complete together without my help.I decided to but this game beacsue my 5 year old had another princess game that she loved and it was allot easier for her that is the game with the 3 disney princesses on the cover.

We recently purchased a Wii and my 6 year old niece needed a game she could play by herself. She loves Barbie's and she picked this game. She really enjoys playing it. It can also be played with 2 players. The game is actually fun - I enjoyed playing it with her. I would recommend this game for any age girls! Have fun!!!

I bought it for my grandaughters 7 th birthday, we also purchased Disney Princess Enchanted Journey and the two games are extremely similar, after she played it for 4 days beat the game and has already pushed it aside.

Decided to buy it, because she loves anything Barbie

Purchased game for my 6-year-old daughter. She doesn't have much experience with video games and has limited attention span. The game is actually a little advanced for her, but she enjoys watching her brother play it. I'm sure she'll get the hang of it eventually. She'd probably enjoy it a little more if she were a year or two older. Otherwise nice graphics and overall game.

This is a very kid friendly game and closely follows the movie. Easy for my daughter to pick up on and has many levels and goals. Very good for hand/eye coordination and basic understanding of instructions. Educational game.

My granddaughter loves the game though she is still trying to learn how to play. Her older brother is teaching her. I bought it for her 4th birthday. I didn't see it because we are in Fl. and she lives in Mi. My daughter said it was packaged very good.

I bought this for my daughter to play. It is a fairly easy game for the 5 or 6 and up range. My 4yr old is having a little harder time getting it as it is less of a motion controlled game and more of a button push oriented game. The graphics, game play and story are pretty good. I recommend for the 6-10 year old girl in the family
