Alright you were able to finish the first book, Congratulations! I found myself putting the first book down a lot. You really can't knock her as a writer becuase of the research she put into the history of the book. I found it if anything educational.
This second book deals mostly with: Roxannes memory loss, children, the return of Kayan, and Ptolmy.
Lots of good information in this one. Once again I could say it is not much of a romance novel.
Hang in there, the third book is the best and worst at the same time.
