Painful to watch, but true to the times

I watched this the first time with Grandfather. He saw different parts of WWII, but he talked about how accurate this film is. It is hard to comprehend young kids in their 20's going through some of the things shown in this movie. Be prepared, it's graphic, but so is war. Great story lines, amazing camera work, realistic scenes overall a great movie. I really liked how there was not one main charactor, but 3 or 4. It's a movie you need to own and watch more than once to truely appreciate.
