Bambi II (DVD, 2006)

This was a great sequel to the original. However, it is not nearly as good. Disney had a huge task on their hands trying to compete with the original, but they've done better than I thought they would. In this sequel Bambi meets his father and is accompanied by most of the cast members from the original including the ever popular Thumper! As with all Disney films, it is one that the kids will love over and over again. Don't hesitate to pick up this DVD!

My son loves this movie with the exception of the dog chase scene. You'll enjoy the modern graphics, sound and music of Bambi II. Finally, Bambi Fans get to know the Great Prince as he talks, walks, and laughs with his son. The foreboding nature of the Great Prince fades away and he tries to fill the parent role. He soon realizes that he is incapable of raising Bambi whilst tending to the concerns of the herd. Just as Bambi is being sent away to live with a suitable parent, calamity strikes and The Great Prince almost loses Bambi. The story ends well and Bambi and his father continue to build on their relationship.

I got this because my two year old grandson like Bambi I. This is a great movie for the entire family. It is a movie that is clean, funny and brings out the kid in adults hearts.

If this cd had come in a protective case of some kind it would have been perfect. The quality of the viewed movie is great, the shipping speed was within the time quoted, and the price was unbeatable!
