The first graders at my elementary school studied Balto. As an end-of-the-year culminating activity they got to watch the movie. We needed it in VHS format because there is only one DVD player in the entire school. The students loved the movie. The price was right. Shipping was reasonable. Thanks!

This movie is based off of a true story, now that doesnt mean everything that happens in it is true, but what is true is the story of a part wolf dog helping the sledding team get medicine to a dying town in need in the middle of one of the roughest winters of all times. Now the talking animals isnt true but hey its a kiddy movie! I think kids of all ages will love this movie, I did as a Kid, and I've enjoyed it as an adult as well, and someday my children will enjoy it to. I recommend this movie, and it has a great must see ending which ties the begining and the entire movie together. A++
