Interesting bio by Moria Shearer of George Balanchine. As a youth he had a very tough time during the Russian Revolution. Young people today don't realize the sacrifices these old masters made to bring us the beauty of ballet. I didn't like how his company turned against him in his later days. Only in America is old age not respected.
