This game is very good, the only reason that I didn't give it 5 out 5 is because in some areas of the game it can be confusing. For example there is a part where you have to find this cave, the cave however seems to be part of the mountain, and you can distiquish it from the mountain, that may or may not be intentional, but when you can't find it, it can be very frustrating. This game is very entertaining, however, and I loved it!

The guys who put together the Baldur's Gate series of games never fail to impress me with their attention to detail and fine-tuned products. This is, like the games in the series that came before it, a wonderful sweeping adventure, full of interesting quests, strange critters, and a large variety of magic items and equipment.

The graphics are very nice, and the play style is exactly what one who had played the previous games would expect. Overall, the only flaw I could possibly find is the way the characters aren't balanced - some are good in the beginning levels, some at the end - but this is a characteristic trait of Advanced Dungeons and Dragons games (the wizard is always a wimp at the beginning and middle levels, and then extremely powerful at the end).

Set in Faerun, in the Forgotten Realms setting, the story is well-situated within the lore of the novels and D&D source books. And as this franchise continues to sell well, you will come to recognize many similarities between this game and the others in the series. However, they still manage to make this game feel fresh, new, and completely original.

I highly recommend this game.

This game is great! I gave it a 4 out of 5 because the worlds can get VERY confusing. The feats and magic stuff were cool! I would suggest a walk-through at certain parts of the game. Overall this game is awesome!

So when I first received the game it was great! Original casing with the game manual intact, but the disc had a scratch. At first I didn't pay it too much attention because as a gamer I know that scratches happen and more often than not, the game will still play if the damage isn't too bad. So I poped the sucker in and started playing. Everything ran smoothly until about a sixth of the way in, then it became unreadable. After buffing the disc though it runs smooth again. I'm sure that the seller had no idea, and it was a simple thing to fix. Shipping was fast and great. I will definitely consider buying again.

Enjoyed the two player aspect of game play (both at once not turn based). Excellent background and character artwork. Good story line for adventure. Lily pad portion can be challenging and frustrating. Because there is no follow-up for the Game Cube the game was very anticlimactic. All the spoils and no place to move on.
Overall enjoyed game and will play it repeatedly.

This is an amazing game. My fourteen year old son loves it, and has played hundreds of other games in the past.

 WOW. On the Wii...it;s awesome!!
Review created: 02/13/08

If you read the reviews about this game, it is praised on all consoles EXCEPT the gamecube. Plagued by slow, cropped frame rates and overall not the same experience as the other consoles. In comes the Wii. The gamecube backward compatability uses a better graphics card where all the gripes about the game are eliminated.
All I can speak for is the Wii...If you've got a Wii, you gotta get this game.

This game is the most amazing game ever created.
In complete honesty, I am purchasing a second copy right now (in case I misplace the original).
More than worth it's weigth in gold, silver, dynamite, and uranium combined.

I simply cannot express how intensely perfect this game is.
A week of non-stop playing was not enough, so I played for two.

The game never really ends because it is possible to import/export characters into completely new games and beat it again, faster, and better every time.

If you successfully complete "The Gauntlet", email me at drumhead_519<{at}>gmail<{dot}>com.

I love this game.

I bought it because of the excellent description of the game and play indicated by seller.
The item was in condition indicated and I was pleased with the overall gameplay. I received the item as stated by seller and I would purchase again from this seller. I am happy with my purchase and enjoy it very much. This product rates high in my gaming experience.

 Not too good...

If you like wimpy over-head view games you'll like this one. The characters are so small they are almost undistinguishable from each other. The worlds are hard to find your way through. Unless you have a walkthrough it would be nearly impossible to find your way through this game. And even then it's still almost impossible not to get lost. I quit after only a few sessions. Because the fun level is almost zero. You can play with a friend. And then both of you can get lost and not have fun.
