Baldur's Gate - 4 in 1 Boxset (PC Games, 2006)

I had the original 5 disk set of baldurs gate and it was a hassle switching the disks during the game. This set only needs one disk to run and when you finish another takes you to the next level. It seems complete and unabridged. A great roll Playing adventure of D&D. And very reasonably priced. (I paid more for my original game than I did for this 4 game set. Love it!!

Perhaps the best RPG I have ever played. Great story, very well created characters that interact with each other and the human player, beautiful hand drawn landscapes and great re-playability. By using the EasyTutu or BGT mods, BG1 can use the BG2 infinity engine, greatly improving the game experience. Total classic that should be part of any RPG collection.

Fast delivery and product arrived in great shape and worked fine. I would highly recommend to other buyers.

These games are each packaged on one DVD and are easy to load and play on a modern PC. I was hoping to copy the files onto my netbook's hard drive so I could play on the road without a disc drive. Didn't work - you must have the disc loaded in order to play.

although I am sure in it's day, this was an up and cutting edge game, I found it unsatisfactory in 2009. the story is good. the graphics are frustration. the character inventories are lacking and all in all, I found it a disapointment. perhaps I've spoiled myself with more modern d&d computer games but, I would say that there are better and more engaging games on the market today.

I like this set better than the origional game. It is condesed to one disc instead of the 5 discs the other game needed. Fun for those who like the forgotten realms series or who like RPG type of games.

I have to give this a 5/5 simply because it contains 2 of the best games ever made. If you are an RPG fan you must play Baldurs Gate 1 and 2.

That said, it's not perfect. The packaging here is pretty lame for games of this caliber. The instruction manual is an online PDF, which is sad, compared to the bound novel that were the original.

That said, unless you want to shell out for the originals in their packaging, you can't beat this price.

this game is what started it all... i used to have it but then my dog scratched the disc so i bought a new one.
