Movie Description
Based on a manga by Keisuke Itagaki, BAKI THE GRAPPLER is an action-packed anime of martial-arts mayhem. The series follows the adrenaline-fueled adventures of 13-year-old Baki Hanma, who is in training to become a world-class fighter like his famous father. But when Baki becomes dissatisfied with the slow pace of his training, he fires his coach and hits the road to earn real-world experience through actual battles with the world's toughest fighters. Encompassing a variety of fighting styles from karate and jiujitsu to boxing and wrestling, this anime offers a virtual onslaught of nonstop battle sequences. The seventh volume sees Baki entering the arena to compete for the designation of world's greatest grappler, but things do not go exactly as planned. Includes episodes 25-28: "The Opening," "Reverse," "Darkness From Light," and "The King Returns."
