Wow! I'm so glad you offered this dvd. I've been looking for this movie for years in retail and movie rental store and was unsuccessful. When I search on the internet and saw it available I compared price and you won. This is one of the most memorable movies that I watch well over 35 years ago. I never forgot it. I just had to have it in my collection. An unforgettable film.

This is a classic suspense thriller. I watched it when I was young and it scared me that a little girl could be so evil. It makes you wonder just what we inherit genetically and what we learn from our environment. It was well made for its time. Didn't need blood and gore to keep you enthralled in the movie. I highly recommend it. It is an excellent movie, with great actors. I'd been looking for this movie on DVD for awhile. Happy to have it in my collection of classics.

Rhoda is even creepier than I remembered. It was one of the first thrillers that I saw and it's still a great one, even though the acting might seem to be a little over the top by today's standards. The best part is that all of the actors had reprised the roles that they originated on Broadway.

I saw this movie when I was just a kid back in the mid 60's. My sister saw it with me and ever since would say that I had "that Bad Seed look in my eye" if she thought I was up to no good. I'm sure we were too young to see this movie then, it's probably a good idea not to let your kids under the age of 12 see it.
My sister's birthday is coming up (her 50th) and since this movie was made in the year she was born (1956), I thought it a good idea to buy it for her to remind her of..."good times". ;)
The Bad Seed is a thriller, Alfred Hitchcock"ish", full of suspense and surprises. Patty McCormack, the child actor, was very convincing. If you like to watch a movie while sitting on the edge of your seat, then watch this one.

I love this movie, and so did my children. It is nice to have for our dvd collection, This item "The Bad Seed" was just what I was looking for at a fare price, I shipment of this dvd was fast and the quality was great. If you havn't seen this dvd I highly recommend it. Hope to do bussiness with seller again in the future

This is a movie that will shock you and keep you on your toes. I'll keep this review short and simple by saying that for this movie being produced in the 1950's, the plot is very thick and heavy, given the era. Better yet, there's quite a lot of good "quotes and one-liners" you can take from this.
Prepare for a true, classic murder-mystery flick. Enjoy!

The Bad SeedI purchased the video because I am involved in the production of the play "The Bad Seed". This movie is still as terrifying as I remembered when seeing it as a child. Of all movies that have a play as their root, this one follows the play closer than any other I have seen. The only difference is the ending which was changed to satisfy the powers of the studio. The movie is done in a fashion you would expect to see on a stage which made it even more interesting for me. A very well done production that I would recommend to anyone.

bad childI read this book back in high school and really liked it. When i saw it for sell on Ebay then i just had to have it. Great movie, the sad fact is that things really happen like this all the time but some parents refuse to believe their children could do bad because that would mean that they failed as parents!

The Bad SeedThe movie titled The Bad Seed (I bought on Ebay,very reasonable price)MAY be considerd a (B) movie. However, it is very well done and VERY entertaining. Lot's of twist's and turn's,you may think you know where the story is going,but you don't! Not so complicated as if it's hard to follow, just surprising were it end's up. Arrived promptly in the condition that seller described! Price was right...Great doing business with them =) This is an EXCELLENT movie for students in psychology, counseling or similar areas where the question of "Nature vs. Nurture" arises! Personally, I believe you don't get one without the other. But this is an old thriller that leaves you questioning theories...hmmm. I saw it for strictly entertainment purposes years ago, but revisited it during my college days...I Absolutely recommend if not buying it, at least renting it! You need to watch it in a quiet place so that you can pick up on all the "hints" as to what is going on...or when you re-watch it with a friend, and I guarantee you will! you will be like "OH!!! I get it!"
