Bad Childhood, Good Life by Dr. Laura Schlessinger

This book is relevant to life. Anyone can glean valuable advise from this book, with or without a messed up childhood. I enjoy Dr. Schlessinger's straight-talking - the no nonsense, "poor me" syndrome too many people cling to in stead of getting off their own pity parties to do something constructive about whatever the situation may be. This book illustrates how easy it really is to stand on your own solid ground and be a man, a woman, or just a descent individual. Even children can gain a lot of insight by reading, or having an adult read it to them to explain it. Highly recommended reading.
