Hip-hop-inspired movies have become the outlets for some of the genre's artists' hottest new beats and rhymes. With that in mind, this soundtrack to the film that exposes life backstage at Jay-Z's Hard Knock Life Tour will only give hip-hop listeners more to smile about.
With rappers like Jay-Z headlining, the end result can only be positive. Cuts to watch out for include the hardcore "Keep it Thorough" by Mobb Deep's Prodigy, and the Timbaland-produced "Get in Da Club," courtesy of Beanie Sigel. Memphis Bleek also makes a noticeable appearance on the fast-paced ruffneck anthem "Mind Right." This is definitely one for the car ride.
