Backdraft (HD DVD, 2006)

I watched this movie when it first came out and i loved the special effects
and how spooky the fire was when it got sucked under the door and then blasted out, Two Brothers (Kurt Russell)and (William Baldwin)are trying to figure out who the arsonist is starting fires throughout the city and killing firefighters, While at the same time competing on who is the better firefighter but at the end the younger brother (William Baldwin) winds up saving his older brother, An excellent movie to rent or buy for that matter.

HD DVD Can Not Be Played On Any Other Player But a spechel HD DVD Player Only Note to know Before ever buying any as for me i didnt know and get stuck with it hard but good leson to learn watch out for HD DVD Disks Claming to be able to play on blueray as well as thoe blue ray is more and can run more still rule stands the only way to see a HD DVD is on a special HD DVD Player! sorry blue ray would not run it eather!

This is the second time I watched Backdraft. I did not remember all that much about the first time I watched it but after watching a second time in HD, will remember it well.

I have the digital version and wanted to see if HD made it look as good or better than regular dvd did. It sure was an improvement! My LG BH200 really does an excellent job of reproducing the colors of the fire as well as scenery.

I like Ron Howard as the director because of the many movies he has done. I like the actors in the movie and wanted to see them again.

Awsome movie. Im a firefighter and I love these movies. Bought it so I could have it. Just make sure you have a "HD" player. Blu-Ray wont work.

Well i really appreciate this movie being a fire fighter myself! it has a really good look on like they say fire has its own mind! and it really does it moves and thinks before it acts! This movie is a really good movie a must have, a stellar cast! if you love fire fighter movies this is a must! Dont forget YOU GO... WE GO!!!!
