Love the entire moving, no dull or slow areas ... typical Rodney Dangerfield at his best. Also, mostly for adults! Hilarious, fun and entertaining!

It has become a tradition around our house to watch "Back To School" at the start of each school year.

Why?

Because it is funny!

Rodney Dangerfield plays a self made success who decides he will go to college to support his son's efforts in college.

My favorite parts of the movie:

I enjoyed the scene when Thorton Mellon (Dangerfield) attends his first economic class where he sets the professor straight on how the business world really works. (I have worked in the computer field for years and I have met computer science instructors who had no idea)
My favorite lines:

(In response to finding out that his teachers wee not going to reschedule classes around his massage) "These classes can be a real incontinence"
I also found the scene where Melon hired Kurt Vonnegut to write a paper on "Kurt Vonnegut, then his professor accuses him of handing in someone else's work and goes on to say that whoever wrote this paper does not know the first thing about Kurt Vonnegut.

I would have loved to have been able to hire someone famous like Kurt Vonnegut to write a paper about himself, I know I would get expelled but the look on my professors face when I introduced the author of the paper to him would have been worth the expulsion. )Okay I was not impressed with most of my instructors in college).

This is a great film, however a few scenes I would feel a bit uneasy showing my pastor.

You should check out the trailer for this movie (included on the DVD) as in the trailer there is a scene that was cut from the movie - very funny scene.

This movie is really funny and worth seeing. It promotes the importance of obtaining a college or university education.

If you want to watch a funny movie this is the one. I have watched it many times on tv and always wanted to own it, so I did. Now I have it when I want to watch it.

This is undoubtedly Rodney Dangerfield's best film and I believe, a true comic classic that continues to appeal to the young(er) generations, as well as those of us who saw it the first (or second) time around.

It is about a self-made millionaire who joins his son in his freshman year of college to boost his confidence and help him "fit in" better. Basically, he just wants his son be happy and successful. At the same time he manages to redecorate the dorm, show off his famous dive for the swim team, find romance and quickly become the most popular "freshman" on campus.

Of course, it contains many of Dangerfield's classically obnoxious one-liners, thus the PG-13 rating and also features an appearance by Sam Kennison. Just a lot of fun...

I had checked out this product while I was visiting my son in the U.S. and I forgot to purchase it. I am quite glad that I didn't make the purchase because I found out that this product is available in EBay. When I calculated the shipping and handling cost plus the actual cost of the product, I found out that it was the same price that I found in the discounted stores. It is a very impressive experience for me because I don't have to fly all the way to the U.S. to purchase the things I like. I just click on my computer by punching ebay.

I bought this as a tribute in memorial of Rodney Dangerfield. He was a funny man that didn't get enough credit for his humor. The DVD movie will serve as a reminder of his humor and talent to make people laugh at themselves and not be so serious all the time.
