Babylon A.D. (DVD, 2009, 2-Disc Set; Checkpoint; Digital Copy; Sensormatic;Widescreen)

vin diesel is a great actor but the overall movie wasn't all that great. the flow of the storyline wasn't done very well. save your money and time and don't get this movie. not worth the time and effort to pickup.

I liked the movie (ok entry), although it was a rip-off of the VanDamm film
"Cyborg" which was much better, disliked the film-noir setting. I bought the
dvd because I enjoy Vin Diesel's laid-back brand of acting; his best outings
were in "The Fast and The Furious" and "Pitch Black".

We give BABYLON A.D. a Rating of AVERAGE. It was interesting, and somewhat held our attention throughout the movie, but was much less than what we had expected. The movie could have been so much more, especially with Vin Diesel as the leading role and the enticing plot. It was an alright movie, with some VERY good futuristic ideas and decent writing, but was somewhat BLAH in some scenes. We lost interests several times when watching it and didnt always know what was happening and why.

It offered good graphics and Special Effects.

Even though we give it a "C" Rating, we watched it twice this evening and would watch again, but wouldnt buy it.

We really expected SO much more. It sounded very interesting!
