An entertaining and enjoyable read.

As an expectant father, my wife wanted me to be more involved and read some books as she was doing. I do look occasionally into the pregnancy books she has accumulated, but not nearly as much as she would like. A friend of ours gave me this book and though he was not a fan of Paul Reiser, said it was funny and I should give it a read.
"An out-loud laugh on every page...Paul Reiser is one of the few stand-up comics-turned-sitcom-stars who can be genuinely funny in print...if you are thinking about having a baby, Reiser's Babyhood is your indespensable...guide." - San Francisco Chronicle.
I would not go so far as the San Francisco Chronicle, but this book is entertaining though not challenging in any way and is a quick read. It was enjoyable, though I must admit I am not a fan of Paul Reiser. The book has some quite funny lines and is interesting. I can't say I learned much if anything from this book, but did enjoy reading it. I recon if you are a fan of Paul Reiser and his comedy stylings, you would find this book very funny. If you are not, I am sure you will still find some good laughs and many chuckles in the book as you live through the same things he has written.
I recommend this book if you are, like me, an expecting father. You get to be entertained and supportive all in the same book. Pick it up and when you are done, pass it along to the next friend who is also expecting. It is a much better read than most if not all of the books written for the pregnant woman.
