Featuring music from and inspired by the motion picture BABE, PIG IN THE CITY, this soundtrack captures the emotions expressed throughout the movie and also features some of the world's most recognized artists. Expressly written by Randy Newman for the film, "That'll Do" is sung by Peter Gabriel, and it's a moving song that has potential to be a lasting classic. Going back to the 1940's, Glenn Miller & His Orchestra perform "Chattanooga Choo-Choo" with help from some of the cast members. Also contributing to the release are The Chieftains, featuring the Black Dyke Mills Band ("Protected By Angels"), Dean Martin with his classic "That's Amore" and The Mavericks ("Are You Lonesome Tonight"). Offering a blend of score and song, the soundtrack is well rounded, with dynamic changes from song to song, but it delivers a texture that endures through out both the film and the disc.
