The show follow's Major Gregory (Pappy) Boyington and his group of misfit Marine fighter pilots during World War 2.
The series is based on the life of Major Boyington a true Marine fighter pilot Ace.
This is a Double-sided 2 DVD set of the 2 hour pilot and the first 10 1 hour episodes.
You also get some NBC News Archives and Interviews with Major Gregory Boyington in the set.
Robert Conrad (Wild Wild West) stars as Major Gregory Boyington and does a wonderful job.
