I was a little hesitant in getting this dgital recorder (technology scares me). I tried a computer program interface and really had a tough time with it. I'm glad to say that figuring this thing out isn't that bad. Although I wanted to start recording the very second I got it, I was patient. After about an hour of familiarizing myself with the unit and the the instruction book, I was ready to start playing with it.It didn't take too long before I had my first song down(2 guitar tracks,bass,drum machine).It was a little rough, but that was mostly my playing and getting used to actually recording myself. Overall this is an easy piece of gear to work with. The drum machine sounds good.The effects are usefull.It makes playing guitar fun as it fills out the sound of a complete song instead of one track live. It won't be long and I'll have music on a CD.

Ok 1st thing, I aint no rocket scientist. I couldnt figure out how to program the dr ryhthym dr5 boss drum machine ok ??? LOL !! But when I got boss br-600 and read the manual and with a lil time I DID learn to program the drums on the BR 600. Ok what Im tryin to say is, This lil awesome machine is very ez to get the hang of. Drums sound as good as sum stand alone drum machines. Simular sound as the boss dr5. The only complaints would be, very sensitive inputs, U have to turn the knob down almost all the way to keep from peekin out on strong signals, no biggie just watch your levels. Lots of adjustments needed on sound effects. But with time you can get sum kewl sounds. Only 1 gb flash cards, But thats enough to hold about 5 or 6 songs with about 5 or 6 tracks each., Oh well buy more cards heee. And last lil argument would be that this is really a 6 track recorder with the last 2 track beind stereo tracks, Again with bouncing and virtual tracks no biggie. Im really impressed about how small this lil baby is. You will be too. Overall its a aesome piece of equipment every musician should own, Its ez to transport your recording to computer via usb cable.
