BHB by Ballas Hough Band (CD, Mar-2009, Hollywood Records)

I genuinely enjoy this cd! Very Jonas-Brothers-esque but a bit more gritty! I can still listen to it and dance around with my 4 year old and we both love it!! Great music for all ages!!

This is a good first effort by Ballas Hough Band. I especially enjoyed the track "Underwater". This CD will strike a chord with fans of nsync and jonas brothers.

This CD has songs that everyone can enjoy. I really enjoyed the songs, "She Was The One" and "Fall". I found myself dancing to "Fall" without even realizing it.
This is a CD that I could listen to around kids without having to worry what they are listening to.

To me, the name sounds like a big band from the 1940’s, or a cruise ship band. But they are far from it! Don’t let the name fool you! They sound like a pop or a top 40 band. Two of the band members are in the tv show “Dancing With the Stars, and Derek Hough is the brother of Julianne Hough, another “Dancing with the Stars” dancer, and a very talented singer in her own right. They definitely are a couple of very musically talented siblings! I can see a number of these songs hitting the top 40 charts. The vocals sound, to me, like Justin Timberlake. Who I do not like, but I like these singers. And you can dance to the whole cd! This is one of the few cd’s lately that it is actually worth downloading the whole cd, not just one or two songs. My favorite song is Fall, which has an edge to it. Another song, Break Through, is right up there also! These two songs are going in my Ipod!

The music is so varied. It runs the gamut from rock and roll to ballads. The vocals are so nice. They harmonize beautifully. I was surprised to learn that most of the songs are written by the band themselves. I liked that the lyrics are family friendly, that you can dance to it and really enjoy it as an adult and with your children. The music fits many ages.

i didn't really know this band,but i heard their song "do it for you"and i liked it,so i bought the cd.
i love their other songs too,and the people are pretty cool.

I like this cd. I heard some of the songs and watch mark and derek on dancing with the stars. I can't get the song do it for you out of my head.

Good music with a beat...good driving music!! I watch Derek and Mark dance on DWTS and my wife loves them. We like to listen to it while driving and or just setting around the house on a lazy evening. This CD has fast songs with a strong beat mixed in with a few slow songs with a steady beat easy to dance to.
