Avery 9100 label printer

Thought this was a too good to be true item. It was. The price was right and the seller technically did nothing wrong, in fact he offered to refund the $.99 that I paid for the printer. Here is the deal....
Take a look around out there at the reviews about this machine and you will see that they are troublesome and people are avoiding them. I bought it based solely on the name. Avery stands for labels and I thought they would have a good product. There are problems with the label peeling feature and the software/hardware has serious issues with working at all. I was never able to get the unit to work. I know I am not alone with these problems.
Secondly, Avery is label king but the printer did not have that many options available for labels. For instance, I wanted a label that for Christmas and there is none available. I also wanted a clear label for my daughters wedding invitations. Not available. Software is not available for Vista.
The best product out there today is Dymo. They have a wide variety of labels, they work perfectly, very very fast and the software works with Vista and XP.
Stay away from the Avery 9100. The price will be dirt cheap but the printer works best as a paper weight.
