I love the tv series, the writing and the 2 stars, esp. Diana Rigg. I bought it becacuse the price was right & I didn't own it. There is nothing to dislike about The Avengers.

How can you not like The Avengers? As a little kid I grew up watching repeats of this show, and I had my first crush on Mrs Peel. I'm not ashamed to admit it, she was so cool and classy and was the perfect partner for the debonair John Steed. This set contains 6 classic episodes, including the whimsical "Who's Who"? which finds our 2 heros swapping bodies with 2 enemy agents. Can you imagine what could have happened but didn't? As you should know, 1967 was the first year the Avengers was filmed in color, and I believe this was the best year for Mrs Peel, she just looks so good in color :-)
