Avengers, The - The '67 Collection: Set 2 (DVD, 1999)

Absolutely a must have for anyone who loves the avengers. Classic Steed and Emma Peel. I thoroughly enjoyed the DVD and highly recommend the entire 67 series.

I remembered the Avengers while on Ebay and decided to check out what was for sale. I came across the Avengers '67 sets 1 and 2, so I bid for them and won. The best of the two sets was number 2 by far. The episodes in #2 included Never, Never Say Die, Epic, The Superlative Seven (vol 4); The Living Dead, The Hidden Tiger and The Correct Way To Kill (vol 3). My personal favorites are Epic, The Superlative Seven and The Living Dead. These three episodes have everything I liked about the Avengers, comedy, witty banter and alot of Mrs. Peel. I would say the only stinker in the bunch is The Hidden Tiger. All in all, I would highly recommed Avengers ' 67 set #2 to anyone who enjoys light-hearted entertainment that brings you back to the 60's. The funny thing about the Avengers is my 14 year old son enjoys watching them too.

I order this for my older sister who use to watch this when she was young and I also remember watch it as well. They just don't make these kind of good spy show like used too. They have too much trash on tv today and they need to go back to show of yesterday to make better Tv and movies.
