Emotional Joan Crawford Rollercoaster Is Wonderful
Autumn Leaves is a favorite Joan Crawford film of mine.I love it because Joan does a good acting job,not a caricature, camp, over the top role she sometimes does.A top romance drama with Cliff Robertson as her leading man.Vera Miles does a good job too in a role preparing her for the vicious one she plays in Back Street with Susan Hayward and John Gavin.A top director Robert Aldrich, great support from Ruth Donnelley, and the lovely theme sung by Nat King Cole makes for top notch film entertainment.
