Automotive Upholstery Handbook by Don Taylor (1998, Paperback)

This book starts off with going over the tools of the trade. Goes in depth into the different kinds of sewing machines, and the pros and cons of each. The book is written very down to earth, more like the author is talking you through it then telling you what to do.

About the only drawback is the black and white illistrations used throughout the book. The book does have some age to it, so you really can't expect it to be up to todays standards.

Overall though, a great book for the novice who wants to potentially get into the automotive upholstery field. You could learn all this book has to offer, then move on and build on the principles given.
