Automaton Transfusion (DVD, 2008)

"What do you like, love, or dislike about it?"

I liked the better-than-average amateur quality of this fine zombie production. I liked the very slighty jerky quality of the camera work, not seizure-inducing mind you, but it gave an frenetic effect to the action and tenseness.

What did I REALLY dislike about it? That 75 minutes into the movie (SPOILER ALERT!) as the heroes are cornered outside the locked door to the morgue with dozens of zombies closing in on them...

Not my review. That's how the movie ended! That's B.S. man! Bee... Ess...!

I bought this movie thinking it would be an asset to my Zombie collection. Boy was I wrong. This is one of the worst zombie movies I've ever seen. The only reason I didn't throw it away was because I didn't think the garbage man would take it. Four thumbs down for this one.

I thought maybe another good Zombie Movie, Not!!! This movie looks like it was made by a high school drama class and the actors cant act at all, bad make up. Worst of all.. the way the movie was filmed makes the movie very jitterie and it looks as if the movie as its playing skips foward every other second, makes ya dizzy and very bored.. Not shaky footage but loke a very bad 8mm film.. Dont Buy this movie dont even rent it, go on you tube and check out the Jitteryness 1st.

On a super small budget they created a fun film with some entertaining elements. I recommend seeing it if you are A.) an aspiring low budget filmmaker, or B.) BIG zombie flick fan, or C.) REALLY BIG indie film buff.

For everyone else, some aspects of it might be hard to overcome and enjoy the film.

Do not adjust your television! There is a strobing effect that occurs throughout the film no matter what you adjust, and there is *jumpy* sound because they ADR'd much of it (dubbed over - like in the old foreign martial arts flicks ) and it causes some dialogue to feel off.

I like the opening sequence (Gear of War 2? One of the guys from the video game development for GoW worked on the sequence - you can see a family resemblance) and the special features, like the commentary, are a nice add.

It is very modern, and stays true to the genre rather than trying to reinvent it.

Lovely brutal killings.... crazy camera work, theres alot to love about this movie.... but super fast zombies i HATE.... bad acting and dated clothing kills me without humor..... still worth seeing if your a fan of zombie flics. Would of loved to have much more T and A...... better plot.... but the death scenes FNING RULED!

Better than most zombie movies but still not as good as any of the George Romero! It has fast zombies but weird filming. The actors are just average. But I enjoyed watching every bite of it!

The fact that this movie was low budget, it was made pretty damn good. Special effects were awesome and the to be continued ending makes me hope that part two is made soon. I bought beacause a i saw a trailer for it on youtube and since i am a big zombie movie fan, i thought i would try it. And for what i paid for it, it was a very good deal.

I love zombie movies... even bad ones.. but this one was a stinker... almost as bad as House of the Dead... the ending was terrible. Except that it was the end of the movie.

Ok acting very awesome special effects and cheesy violence loved it. Wish i knew that it was to be continued but defenitly worth a watch.......

At times it was like they took every cliche and threw it in a hat and pulled it out one by one. They acting was wooden and special effects don't make up for unlikable characters and a lack of plot. It is cheesy gore but that is the entire point of the genre. It is crap but so was Night of the Living Dead when it first came out. I'm torn. I want to love it. Don't expect to be wowed.
