Easy to read - powerful message from a good man.

The experiences of Yogananda are well worth reading; from his boyhood - interacting with his family - to his meeting his spiritual teacher, a man named Yuketswar. (The names are often difficult at first). Yogananda writes well and before you know it, you're at the end, wishing there were more. There are also lots of photographs inserted at the right spots, and they make the reading experience more vivid and enjoyable. I used to read this book every year, along with various books of Thomas Merton. Both were deeply spiritual, but also jovial, men.
